Summer Trench

With temperatures climbing above 20°C i had to find a proper replacement for my beloved camel coat. This airy summer trench coat by strellson immediately convinced me with its elegant design which makes it look great both with dapper as well as casual outfits. The light color fits my spring/summer wardrobe perfectly and makes it a true eye-catcher. Whether you’re off to work, out for a relaxed sunday-stroll in the city or going on a date this coat always fits the occasion. On the pics you see me rocking it with a pair of ripped jeans and a super light-weighed knit. Last […]

The third and final part of my feature on my trip to paris takes us to canal st.martin. This area is particularily nice on warm and sunny days as it’s a great place to hang out next to the water but still in an urban environment. From raw street art, to romantic bridges over the canal to modern bars, shops, restaurants and concept spaces. This area has it all within a 15 minutes walking distance. Like i already recommended in my last post make sure to drop by LE COMPTOIR GENERAL which is located right across the street from the canal […]

Formidable

Like i mentioned the other week i went to paris for the first time in my life. I completely forgot how good it felt to escape everyday routine and just go somewhere, switch off all the worrying and stressing and just enjoy discovering new places. With Paris it was love at first sight. Besides the incredible and really overwhelming historical architecture and beautiful buildings i particularly also liked the diversity you get when living in a real megacity like paris. Every neighborhood has its own flair and charm which is why you basically never stop exploring. I’d say FORMIDABLE (see […]

Spring finally made it to vienna. Oh man how i’ve missed the warmth of the sun, the mild breeze and the smiles on people’s faces. Everyone seems so reliefed the freezing and shivering of the last months is finally over. So go out and enjoy the weather. I guarantee you won’t regret it (unless you have some kind of annoying allergy or something 😉 ). Vienna offers so many amazing places to enjoy a day out on the fresh air. Hence, last saturday, i used some of my rare spare time to chill a bit at the MQ (Museumsquartier) which […]

Home is where the heart is they say. Well, I was in Paris last week and I must have had my heart with me because Pigalle (the neighborhood I stayed in there) immediately felt like home to me. The flair of this area is hard to describe but I think it’s the combination of modern bars and restaurants, stylish shops, hip clubs, the offsets of formerly being the red light district of Paris and the incredibly interesting diversity of people with different cultures, styles, sexual orientation and social backgrounds that makes Pigalle such a lively and fascinating place. So next time you’re […]

Whether you go out for a stroll through the city on a sunny spring day or to a bar to have a drink with a friend in the evening, this easy-going casual look always fits the occasion. One of the basic rules for a cool outfit is to not overthink or overdo it. Keep it simple as sometimes less is more. In order to convey a relaxed mood you have to wear clothes you feel comfortable in. The worn out denim slingshots combined with a basic tee and a pair of low top sneakers express exactly the laid-mood of a […]

Rebel Black

Fashion just like any other so called „scene“ has a tendency for elitism. Just like you have it in art, music, sports, etc. But why do all these beautiful ways of expression need to end up in relatively small groups judging others, defining who is cool and who isn’t, shutting everyone out who’s not surfing the same wave. If we’re honest to ourselves it’s most likely because deep in ourselves we’re all striving so hard for individuality. For something that makes us stand out of the crowd. Something that sets us apart from the establishment. Something in rebellion against the conformity of our daily routines. […]
