Home is where the heart is they say. Well, I was in Paris last week and I must have had my heart with me because Pigalle (the neighborhood I stayed in there) immediately felt like home to me. The flair of this area is hard to describe but I think it’s the combination of modern bars and restaurants, stylish shops, hip clubs, the offsets of formerly being the red light district of Paris and the incredibly interesting diversity of people with different cultures, styles, sexual orientation and social backgrounds that makes Pigalle such a lively and fascinating place. So next time you’re in Paris, make sure to visit Pigalle and remember my words!

When going for city trips in spring, bringing the right clothes is a tough challenge. April weather can be quite tricky. One day it’s warm and sunny, the next day or even just a couple of hours later temperatures drop below ten degrees with pouring rain. Hence good layering is vital for this time of the year. However, this outfit makes sure the quickly changing April weather won’t make a fool out of you. While the STUTTERHEIM coat keeps you dry even on the rainiest day the waterproof backpack by RAINS does the same for your belongings. I think rainwear never looked so cool. The awesome Scandinavian design creating a slightly futuristic style makes these two exceptional pieces of rainwear must-haves in every spring wardrobe. And finally when the sun comes through just wear the coat open and roll up the legs of your jeans to get a more airy and relaxed spring look.

I’M WEARING
