Oxblood

3. November 2014

Hardly any other color has been so persistantly popular during recent years’ fall/winter seasons as oxblood. The term oxblood refers to a dark red, slightly purplish color that could actually be seen as a particular shade of burgundy. For me it resembles a unique elegance and power while at the same time it’s also a very passionate and emotionally warm color. Another great thing about it is that it’s easy to combine. Of course it goes perfectly with black and white but also with dark shades of blue, camel or green.

Below you see me rocking the SAMSØE & SAMSØE ‘Ceram’ Jumper, which the lovely ladies over SAMSØE HQ sent me to get me through the winter. Its heavy knitting is destined to keep you warm and the 100% wool fabric is suprisingly soft. Once again SAMSØE underpins why it’s one of my absolute favorite brands when it comed to knitwear! Another nice detail in this outfit is the matching beanie which i got from H&M the other day. It’s 100% supersoft cashmere and was only about 25€. So if you’re still looking for the perfect winter hat this is my recommendation for you. Superior value for money ratio!
