This Thursday the HM Studio SS16 Collection will finally drop in stores and online around the world. Last week I’ve already introduced some of my HM Studio SS16 men’s must haves with a strong focus on sand and earth tones as well as a broad range of interesting and progressive cuts. To shorten the time until the release a bit for you this time I want to inspire you with an awesome look for the early spring days again featuring one of my absolute HM Studio SS16 men’s must haves: When I first saw this light brown/mustard suede leather jacket it was love at first sight. With an unique napped leather in one of this spring/summer’s key colors and an exceptionally great fit this one really stands out. I recommend wearing it over a minimalistic all black outfit to allow for the jacket to be the center of attention. On the pictures I combined it with a subtle turtleneck and a pair of loose-fit cropped chinos. To round off the retro chic attitude of this look you can style it with a nice fedora and bring in a modern touch with a pair of classy sneakers or chelsea boots. For this outfit as well as the whole HM Studio SS16 collection cuts really matter. The jacket comes with a very clean-lined and straight cut. Its classic collar goes perfectly with the turtle neck while the chinos are yet another great example of the current shift in men’s fashion towards looser fits. Their cropped length and tuck bring in a supercool retro touch while the sneakers add a modern design detail.

I love this outfit because it’s smart & casual, elegant & artsy as well as retro & modern at the same time. It brings together several themes from the past with modern design concepts and merges them into a progressive style. Although the leather jacket is a bit of an investment it is also a true staple and most importantly an instant eyecatcher. If you ask me this one probably deserves to go on top of my HM Studio SS16 men’s must haves list.

Diesen Donnerstag veröffentlicht H&M endlich die neue HM Studio SS16 Kollektion sowohl online als auch in Fillialen rund um die Welt. Bereits letzte Woche habe ich euch ja einige meiner HM studio SS16 men’s must haves vorgestellt. Um euch die Wartezeit bis zum Release etwas zu verkürzen, möchte ich euch diesmal einen weiteren herausragenden Look für die ersten Frühlingstage präsentieren. Dabei sticht natürlich ein weiteres meiner HM Studio SS16 men’s must haves sofort ins Auge: Als ich diese hellbraun/senfgelbe Wildleder Jacke das erste mal sah, war das Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Ihr einzigartiges aufgerauhtes Leder in einer absoluten Trendfarbe sowie der wirklich großartige Schnitt machen diese Jacke zu einem ganz speziellen Stück in jeder Garderobe. Um das gute Stück auch wirklich in den Mittelpunkt der Aufmerksamkeit zu rücken, würde ich euch empfehlen das restliche Outfit farblich schlicht, am besten in ganz schwarz zu halten. Auf den Bildern habe ich die Lederjacke mit einem Rollkragenpulli und einer etwas verkürzten Chino kombiniert. Abrunden könnt ihr diesen Retro-Chic Style am besten mit einem schönen Hut und einem Paar klassischen Sneakers oder Chelsea Boots. Sowohl für dieses Outfit als auch die gesamte HM Studio SS16 Kollektion kommt den Schnitten der Teile eine besondere Bedeutung zu. Die Jacke überzeugt dabei mit sehr klaren Linien und einem geraden Schnitt. Der klassische Kragen passt perfekt mit dem Rollkragen darunter zusammen. Bei den Chinos zeigt sich einmal mehr der derzeitige Dogmenwechsel bei Männerhosen in Richtung weiteren Schnitten. Die Bundfalte gemeinsam mit den etwas zu kurzen Hosenbeinen sorgt für einen coolen Vintage Look, während die Sneakers mit interessanten Designdetails einen Hauch von Moderne mit an Board bringen.

Ich mag dieses Outfit besonders gerne, da es schick und leger, elegant und künstlerisch sowie retro und modern zugleich ist. Es führt verschiedene Trends der Vergangenheit mit frischen Designideen zusammen und verbindet sie zu einem progressiven Stil. Obwohl die Lederjacke dabei zwar eine kleine Investition darstellt, ist sie definitiv ein absoluter Blickfänger. Wenn ihr mich fragt, verdient sich diese Lederjacke somit absolut ihren Platz an der Spitze meiner HM Studio SS16 men’s must haves Liste.
