The heat here in Vienna is blistering at the moment. With temperatures around 35 degrees the best thing to wear would be nothing at all. Taking cover in a shadowy spot in one of Vienna’s beautiful parks might be just the right thing to do on days like these. Thus last weekend I met up with some friends at Stadtpark, a fabulously kept park in the heart of Vienna, offering wide greens arranged around charming ponds, old trees and historical architecture. It comes as no surprise this is one of the most popular green areas for both locals as well as tourists. However, despite the heat we shall not lose our coolness. For this lazy afternoon at the park I’ve chosen a very laidback casual summer outfit, featuring a loose muscle tank, allowing the air to circulate beneath it to cool you down a bit, together with some worn through shorts. The rugged edges together with the asymmetric cut provide for a raw and slack look. Last but not least wearing a hat does not only prevent you from getting sun-struck (remember what your mom told you! 😉 ) it also complements the outfit and emphasizes its laid-back vibe.
