Last weekend I went to Melbourne for a couple of days. Besides being an incredibly cool and diverse city (I will put together detailed travel posts going a little more into detail on my impressions of Melbourne) Melbourne is also known for being home to a variety of awesome fashion brands. In other words, Melbourne is pretty much a paradise for fashion bloggers. But what made this weekend even better was that one of my favorite Aussie streetwear brands, NANA JUDY, invited me over to their Headquarter to meet its awesome crew and gave me some exclusive insights into its upcoming “Stance” collection.

One of my highlights was definitely the new Spring Jean, which will be released worldwide as part of the new collection on 1st of November. As you can see on the pictures, the Spring Jean reflects a classic look with a refined contemporary twist. Vertical elastic gathering at the Hem creates a sophisticated style with a masculine cool edge. Knee panel darts finally add a nice design detail , Finishing off this easy-to-wear on-point look.

The layering of the elongated tees with the split sides provides for an urban street kind of style. Also, I’m a big fan of long sleeves at the moment as they are not only perfect for layering but also the perfect pick for the sometimes windy and unsettled weather which is typical for the transitional periods. In this outfit I aimed for a more basic and simplistic look. However, the pin tuck pattern on the sleeves of the longsleeve add yet another nice detail. Last but not least, matching the simplistic style I’m once more wearing my current favorite accessory, the KAPTEN & SON “Campus” watch. Through its minimalist design it looks good in almost every outfit and always adds a classy note.

Oh and in case you were wondering: YES there is a chopper in the background. How sick does that look?! Going all James Bond here. Seems like braving the hard winds up on that rooftop ultimately paid off :). But I guess also the view was worth the struggle.
