Two souls are dwelling inside my chest. The one very structured and ambitous, eager to achieve my goals and eventually do something meaningful, creating additional value for society. The other, creative and dreamy, naively holding on to a certain romanticism of my youth and driven by a rebellious yet big and warm heart with a perpetual will to stand out and not let myself being dictated by the alleged necessities of social establishment. Although sometimes i’m literally torn and somewhat lost by the war these two opposites fight inside of me, i think at the end of the day this versatility makes me who i am.
I think we shouldn’t let others define who or what we are. And neither should we suppress or neglect the different souls living inside ourselves. I guess the outfit in this post to some extent resembles this dichotomy. A bit classy but at the same time punky. A glimmer of dapperness but still casual. Partly retro but mostly innovative. Our style gives people insight into our minds. Hence the most important thing is to be honest and authentic when expressing it. Don’t try to be something you’re not. If you can identify yourself with your style you’ll emanate confidence and confidence is the secret ingredient to good style!
