H&M STUDIO Autumn Winter 2016 – Making Your Grandpa’s Wardrobe Cool Again

Last week I showed you a first look from the H&M STUDIO Autumn Winter 2016 Collection which is going to drop early September. This week I’m back with another one exclusive sneak peak at the H&M STUDIO Autumn Winter 2016 Collection.

Once again the outfit is heavily influenced by its strong retro-chic vibe. The classy coat with its distinct springhalt pattern clearly comes with a strong vintage character. For an elegant yet nonchalant style I like to wear it with a pair of thick woolen cropped chinos and a loose tee which I prefer to tuck into the pants for looks like this one. Last but not least the exquisite platform brogues make for yet another highlight. All in all a strong look coming with a lot of nostalgia. In other words the H&M STUDIO Autumn Winter 2016 Collection somehow manages to turn grandpa’s wardrobe into cutting edge fashion and make it cool again.

Also colorwise the H&M STUDIO Autumn Winter 2016 Collection picks up some of this autumn’s key trends. Expect to see a lot muted colors such as rusty orange and dark red as well as earthy brown tones this autumn and winter. Due to their neutrality these shades are easy to combine and they come with a lot of substance as well as a strong foundation.
