Spring finally made it to vienna. Oh man how i’ve missed the warmth of the sun, the mild breeze and the smiles on people’s faces. Everyone seems so reliefed the freezing and shivering of the last months is finally over. So go out and enjoy the weather. I guarantee you won’t regret it (unless you have some kind of annoying allergy or something 😉 ). Vienna offers so many amazing places to enjoy a day out on the fresh air. Hence, last saturday, i used some of my rare spare time to chill a bit at the MQ (Museumsquartier) which is one of my favorite places to hang out here in Vienna’s seventh district. Besides the great food and the artsy surroundings it offers a great mix of interesting people and awesome bars, coffeshops and restaurants.
Dwelling on the awesomeness of my hometown i realized how seldomly i feature local brands here on the blog. One that definitely deserves more attention is KITSCH BITCH. Simple mostly black and white designs with creative and humorous statements that inevitably catch people’s attention. On the pics you see me wearing their “in-karl-we-trust” tee which is one of my favorites out of their current collection (fun fact: Karl. Name of my grandpa, name of emperors, name of famous fashion designers but most importantly: my slightly old-fashioned and often concealed second name.) However make sure to check out their webshop (here) and if you’re located in vienna drop by their store in the fourth district (find the precise address here). When wearing a statement tee like this one i’d recommend to keep the rest of the look simple in order to highlight the focus on the tee. In this outfit you see me wearing a light pair of chinos and a denim jacket, which both should not be missing in your spring wardrobe. All together a look that has you well prepared for some serious spring weekend chillout.
