New Years Outfit

For New Years I always like to go for a slightly more dapper look, as I think special occasions require outstanding styling. However, at the same time it’s important to me to never look too conservative or square as this just doesn’t go well with my personality. The annual challenge therefore is to find a look that is classy but still comes with a contemporary twist. My selection for NYE 2015 thus combines a lot of classy highlights with a slightly extravagant touch aiming for a modern gentleman’s style.

The classy double-breasted blazer matches perfectly with the turtleneck sweater. Worn with a pair of slim, ideally slightly cropped, trousers and ankle boots it creates a spectacular scandy-look. The scare adds an artsy touch while the rider-gloves make sure your hands won’t freeze onto the Champagne bottle’s you’ll probably be popping outside at midnight. Becoming ever more confident with wearing my opticals, I think especially with elegant outfits like this one, they can definitely underline the sophisticated note.
