Exploring Abandoned Houses
I love abandoned houses. Their calm, their mystery & their emptyness. And yet every corner tells a story. With a little imagination you can literally even feel the history of your surroundings. Of course old & run down buildings also make a hell of a great location for photoshoots.
These shots were taken during my trip with Vangardist Magazine where I had the pleasure to explore the former servants’ quarters of the fairytale like Schloss Wartholz property with two amazing photographers, the berlin based Stefanie Thiele and the viennese Instagram Legend Marion Vicenta Payr also known as Lady Venom. Together with my Blogger Buddy The Lionheaded we browsed trhough the facilities looking for cool spots, playing with different lights, and stumbling across hidden treasures such as vintage furniture, wallpapers or decoration.
Outfit: Retro Chic wearing Tiger of Sweden Bomber Jacket and The Truth by Carlings Trousers
My outfit is inspired by the combination of old and new and the idea of a certain retro chic nostalgia. Especially the dropcrotch suit pants with a neat tuck and rolled up legs bring in a super cool retro vibe which is emphasized also by the black & white striped tee. With pants like these it can actually look really nice to tuck in the tee. A pair of leather slippers with strap details match the style perfectly. Last but not least the shimmering black bomber jacket takes the look to a whole new level and gives the outfit a classy and luxurious finish. A casual chic style, good for almost any occasion: classy, sporty and edgy at the same time.
