H&M Studio SS16 – Cutting edge designs for the Creative & Audacious

As next week, on 25th of February H&M will release the highly anticipated H&M Studio SS16 collection in stores and online I checked out the new range in advance to present you my favorite looks from the H&M Studio SS16 Men’s department. My first look already gives you a little preview on the upcoming season’s cutting edge trends. This spring/summer season we can expect a strong return of sand and beige tones which I’m personally very happy about. These colors do not only come with a light, sunny vibe that will definitely wake us up from the darker winter months they are also super easy to combine with other tones. For a clean and fresh look that will immediately bring back the summer feelings, I suggest mixing them with some white highlights. A second major trend in menswear which is strongly represented in the new H&M Studio SS16 collection and which will probably accompany us over the next few seasons is a shift towards more boxy fits and wide-on-wide looks. This certainly doesn’t mean you have to throw out all your skinny jeans but you’d definitely do good to get yourself at least one pair of wide and boxy slacks. Style them with a pair of classic white sneakers. A little tipp: If you’re wearing high-tops try to roll up the legs a bit. As these kind of pants are really versatile you have plenty of options for tops. Pair them with a drop sholders short sleeve sweater and a long line tee underneath for a great wide on wide look. If you prefer a slightly more artsy and french style you can go for shorter clean lined tops with a classic collar.

However, no matter what you choose, there’s one trend that never goes out of fashion: it’s being creative. H&M Studio SS16 introduces a range of styles for the audacious modern man – a collection for the creative minds who always dare to try out something new. With numerous inspiring and refreshin design-highlights and key pieces it challenges you to rethink your approved concepts of style in order to move forward, explore and ultimately express new facettes of your personality.

Nachdem nächste woche die mit Spannung erwartete neue H&M Studio SS16 Kollektion veröffentlicht wird, habe ich mir bereits vorab davon ein Bild gemacht und für euch einige meiner Lieblingsoutfits und Teile ausgewählt. Mein erstes Outfit gibt zugleich einen Vorgeschmack auf einige bevorstehende Trends im Bereich Männermode. Zum einen werden wir diesen Frühling/Sommer eine starke Rückkehr an Sand- und Beigetönen sehen. Persönlich freut mich dieser Trend besonders, denn diese Farben haben nicht nur eine enge Assoziation mit Frühlingssonne und Sommer, sie sind auch super mit anderen Farben zu kombinieren. Für einen besonders frischen und sommerlichen Look empfehle ich ein paar weiße Highlights hinzuzufügen. Der zweite wichtige Trend für Männer dieses Frühjar ist die Rückkehr von weiten boxigen Schnitten. Bei den Hosen äußert sich dieser Trend besonders durch ein Revival der sogenannten Postboten Chino. Weit auf Weit steht jedenfalls wieder hoch im Kurs. Das heißt natürlich nicht, dass ihr nun augenblicklich all eure Skinny-Jeans loswerden müsst, aberund ich finde man sollte dem Ganzen unbedingt eine Chance geben. Die gerade geschnittene weite Chino kombiniert ihr am besten mit ganz cleanen und klassischen Sneakers. Solltet ihr euch für High-Tops entscheiden, könnt ihr ruhig auch mal versuchen die Hosenbeine etwas raufzurollen. Für die Oberteile könnt ihr entweder die weit-auf-weit/oversized Variante mit einem kurzärmligen Dropshoulders Sweater und einem Langen Tee darunter wählen, oder ihr entscheidet euch für einen etwas mehr französisch-künstlerisch angehauchten Style mit eher kurzen und geradlinigen Oberteilen mit klassischem Klappkragen.

Für welche Variante auch immer ihr euch entscheidet, bedenkt immer, dass es einen Trend gibt der nie außer Mode geht – nämlich kreativ zu sein. Die neue H&M Studio Kollektion wendet sich mit topmodernen aber dennoch gut tragbaren Styles vor allem an die kreativen und mutigen unter uns.
