here we go again. another day, another trip. this time me and my buddies paul and justine went on a little daytrip to uppsala, a small university town close to stockholm. here are some pictures of our time there…

the most obvious and probably also most impressive sight in uppsala is the uppsala cathedral, sweden’s biggest church

whenever i visit a church i light a candle for my babybro. miss you so much broski. i love you and i know you’ll always be with me

we also visited the gustavianum university museum where we were were able to see the old anatomical theatre

then we went up to the main building of the uppsala’s famous university. from there you have a really nice view on the chur

the entrance hall of the university building. a lot of famous and smart people have celebrated their graduation here

on little hill the famous castle of uppsala thrones over the city. apperently the castle serves as the residence of the county governor nowadays

with this great view over the city our trip and also a really nice and interesting day came to an end and after treating ourselves with some really tasty greek food at the “tzatziki” restaurant we took our train back to stockholm.
to be honest after my trip to uppsala i was quite happy that i chose stockholm over uppsala for my exchange. although it is a nice little town with an old university that has a great reputation, it is probably not the most spectacular place you could imagine. yet if you’re in the area uppsala is definitely worth a daytrip.
