Kenzo x H&M – Exclusive Sneak Peek of H&M’s Latest Designer Collaboration
The wait is almost over, Kenzo x H&M will be impacting November 3rd. Some of you might have already seen the previews H&M published of its latest and highly anticipated designer collaboration with the french fashion giant. With only two weeks left until the release, the hype is building up massively all around the globe. Last night the official Kenzo x H&M party went down in New York and celebrities weren’t shy to show up.
Together with my friends at H&M Austria I’m excited to give you an exclusive little sneak peek of the collection and present you my favorite styles for men from Kenzo x H&M. Typical for the french fashion house, Kenzo x H&M is a true firework of vivid colors and exotic patterns. Besides numerous flashy all-over print pieces there will also be some styles with different Kenzo x H&M logos featuring two different kinds of tigers. Personally I really like the fresh jungle vibes and high recall value of the collection. Given the time of its release Kenzo x H&M will really stand out among all the muted and reduced colors which are common during fall/winter. However, a full on Kenzo x H&M look really is a strong statement. But also if you don’t consider yourself fashion killa enough to go Kenzo x H&M all over, some of the collections key pieces look fantastic combined with more basic styles from your own wardrobe.
My Favorite Kenzo x H&M Look for Men – Classy Meets Crazy
My favorite style from Kenzo x H&M is probably the military green parka with the jungle pattern lining. It’s less flashy than the fur or all-over-print, but it really is pure class. A slightly shiny fabric and a classic parka fit with an elongated back provide for a high end look. The blue and green jungle print lining adds a nice contrast without overdoing it. Underneath I just love this crazy multi-colored & multi-patterned sweater. It’s a true eye-catcher and definitely also one of the collection highlights. While the collection contains many printed and patterned options for pants as well, in combination with the striking sweater and lining of the parka, these could be a bit too much for my taste. So my choice for bottoms is the probably only single-colored item of the collection, the all black slim fit jeans with beautifully detailed buttons showing the famous Kenzo tiger head logo. Last but not least I really love the chelsea Boots with the contrasting green sole. If you ask me they come with just the right mix out of classy and crazy which is basically also the main theme of the look I selected from Kenzo x H&M.
