A well fitting suit is as essential for every modern man’s wardrobe as it is hard to find. Even if you’re not working in a job that requires business attire, you should still have at least one nice suit for certain occasions. For people who don’t need suits in many different colors, my suggestion always is to get a classic slim-fit navy suit. A well fitting navy suit works for almost any occasion that requires classy attire. From the office, over fancy dinners to weddings and other formal events, with a navy suit you are always on the safe side. However, a lot of people forget how versatile suits are. Depending on what kind of look you are going for there are many different ways to wear a suit, some more formal, some more casual. I teamed up with one of my favorite Swedish brands, Tiger of Sweden, which is known for its tailoring expertise and exquisite suits, to present you my three favorite ways to wear a suit.

Look One – Business

You’re down for Business, got an important meeting at the office or just want to make a good impression on your first day at the new firm? Then it’s time to suit up my friend. Pair your slim-fit navy suit with a classic white shirt and a narrow tie in a neutral color and you’re good to go. For the office, brown dress shoes and a matching belt provide for a fashionable appearance. As for accessories, a pair of elegant opticals make for a sophisticated look while the silver watch with the classic design rounds off the style neatly. On colder days, a classic camel coat looks amazingly dapper with the navy suit underneath. Walk into the office like this and your colleagues will know who’s the next big shot.

Look 2 – Business Casual

You’re not a fan of the conservative business attire, ties make you feel constrained and above all you’re kind of more the creative type? Fair enough my friend, but that doesn’t mean you can’t rock a suit! Due to the slim fit, the Tiger of Sweden suits provide a more modern and fashionable kind of look, that also goes well with a t-shirt and sneakers. This style is perfect for all of you young, urban creatives, innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs. It’s just the right mix of classy and casual. While the suit makes for a sharp appearance, the crisp white sneakers and tee add a fresh younger and sportier side. For those of you who are not shy of the bold and unconventional, throw over a bomber jacket on cooler days. It’s kind of a breach of style but it also spices up the mix.

Look 3 – Casual Chic

It’s date night and you’re not sure what to wear, you’re out for a club night with the boys or just out for a stroll through the city on a sunday afternoon? Your suit (or at least parts of it) might still be exactly what your are looking for. Whether you wear the blazer of your suit with a cozy turtle neck and a pair of jeans or you pair the suit pants with a nice sweater or shirt and a leather jacket, there are many ways to wear a suit also in your spare time. With the deep navy blue I created a nice color contrast for my all black outfit which comes along casually chic. For a more extravagant look, upgrade your style with some cool jewellery for men and a pair of chunky boots.
