Shirting with a twist is one of the big trends for men in 2018. From popping floral prints to vertical stripes this summer sees a strong return of shirts in men’s fashion. The difference however is, that this summer it’s all about wearing your shirts in a very casual way. No matter wether you prefer short or long sleeves, sport your shirts with attitude. Wear them oversized, unbuttoned with a tee underneath for a bit of retro look or loosely buttoned up to show some chest.
On the pictures you see me wearing my latest acquisition when it comes to vertically striped shirts from Topman. For a slack retro kind of Italo-style I like to wear it with a plain white tee underneath tuck both into a pair of cropped, tailored-fit trousers and unbutton the shirt down to one button above the belt. That way I give the look a nice old-school elegance without giving up on its nonchalance. For windy days just throw over a leather biker jacket to complete the outfit. Smart but easy going, this look will have you sorted both for a casual walk about town as well as a dinner & drinks in a fancy restaurant or bar.
