The Explorer | Discovering Semmering with Vangardist & Mini | Outfit by Carlings

As I’ve already told you, last week Progressive Men’s Magazine Vangardist invited me and a crew of fellow bloggers on a nostalgic trip to the countryside around Vienna. In between our photoshoots we of course also had some time to explore the beauty of the surrounding Semmering region with it’s famous Semmering Railway winding its way through the forested mountains of the region. From the window of my room at the magnificent Villa Antoinette, I finally discovered this cool viaduct down in a valley between to mountains. Of course we had to take a closer look at it, so The Lionheaded, Ilja Jay & the amazing photographer Lady Venom spontaneously decided to make our way down there and see what’s going on. After I had familiarized with the automatic gearshift of our Mini (yes I really confused the break for the clutch, scaring the hell out of the other people in the car) it didn’t take long until we arrived at this architectonic masterpiece, typical for the Semmering region.

On the pictures you see me wearing a cool explorer look, with a elongated bomber jacket by Vailent, a pair of jeans by my favorite denim manufacturer NEUW Denim, a Shirt by The Truth and most importantly my new Brixton hat. I think if Indiana Jones was a fashion blogger, this would have probably been his choice for an excursion like this one. The outfit also blends in perfectly with the surroundings mixing modern urban streetstyle with functional and more traditionally inspired elements.
