Tiger of Sweden A/W 2016 – The tonic of Wildness

Every now and then we all need to go back to our roots, to the mother of all inspirations, nature. We can find piece in it’s quietness, find our calm in it’s solitude, find strength in it’s endless beauty.

Throughout its more history of more than a century, the Swedish brand Tiger of Sweden has always been deeply entrenched with its Scandinavian origins. With the latest Tiger of Sweden A/W 2016 campaign, the brand once again soaks up the inspiration by Scandinavian nature and the stark winters up north. The men’s range of the Tiger of Sweden A/W 2016 collection is dominated by a unique mix of narrow cuts and wider, oversized shapes leading current trends in fashion. Typically for the brand’s style the Tiger of Sweden A/W 2016 collection is dominated by black and grey but also comprehends a profound selection of muted, autumnal colors like dark olive green, camel and earth tones as well as deep reds, particularly in combination with some artistic floral prints.

So together with my friends from Constant Evolution, I went into the woods, to explore the inspiring power of nature, the tonic of wildness. Outfitwise I picked one of my key looks from the Tiger of Sweden A/W 2016 men’s collection, which is built around a real must-have for the winter season, the drop-shoulder overcoat. Due to it’s length, the broad lapels and the drop-shoulder fit it provides an extravagant, high-fashion, oversized look which is destined to turn heads on the street. Premium fabrics paired with finest workmanship make this coat a unique statement of style, that is designed to age with it’s owner. The dark olive green comes with a natural sense of elegance and is one of the season’s most distinct trend colors. Due to its neutrality it will work with most parts of your wardrobe and also be a safe choice in upcoming winter seasons. That way the trousers will harmonize better with the boots and highlight the sharp silhouette.
