2. BEDOUIN SOUNDCLASH – WALLS FALL DOWN
As spring and with it the sun and warm weather is finally back in Vienna here’s another summer song. While being not essentially new i rediscovered this tune this week when i stumbled upon a bedouin sound clash t-shirt i bought at their concert a while ago. I don’t even know if this band still exists but i completely forgot how great their music makes me feel. Walls Fall Down is an outstandingly catchy combination of Raggae, Rock, Ska and Soul elements and a must-have in your summer playlists.
3. CHEFKET – IDENTITÄTER
For those of you who thought german hip-hop was dead, this is gonna proof you wrong. Chilled beats and lyrical ingenuity make Chefket a definite must-hear. This song is about growing up, chasing your dreams and how in the end your experiences shape what you are.
